Character: 09/06/2010 - Sergi is recovered well and now weighs 28Kg. He loves to run and play with other dogs and is happy and contented and awaiting his "forever home". 31/05/2010 Sergi is recovering really well. His appearance has changed and he has now regrown 95% of his hair . He is much happier in himself also and he is now happy with other dogs especially with females. He also now runs like a greyhound and he has been able to finally finish his glucantime. He now weighs more than 26kg.   01/05/2010 - Sergi is recovering slowly but surely and his wounds are now practically healed. There are still complications as he was started on Glucantime but unfortunately he is still not strong enough for this so he will continue on Aluprinol only,and with special food and plenty of rest. Once he is able to tolerate the Glucantime he will start again. He is much more active now and enjoys his walks which is a good sign though he still sleeps alot. Still rest is no bad thing and at least the real hard life is behind him. 18/4/2010 - Sergi has gained some 3.5 Kg already and is now starting a course of Glucantime treatment. Sergi was found in an appalling state and he has been diagnosed with Leishmania. He is receiving treatment with both antibiotics and anti-inflammatories as he has a series of wounds to the skin - some of which are due to lying outside (particularly to his hip areas and joints). He is receiving medication for his leishmania and once he is a little stronger than he can receive stronger medication. At the moment he is in a foster home (his fosterer is a vet so he couldn't be in safer hands). He has already gained 1Kg (as at 7th April 2010). He is suffering from anaemia (he was covered in ticks and fleas) and hipoproteinemia which is a result of malnutrition makes the absorption of food difficult and as a result he suffers from trembling in his back legs. He is a charming boy who after all that he has been through has a beautiful character, and more importantly a will to live!

Carácter: 31/05/2010 Sergi se recupera realmente bien.Su aspecto tiene Cambiado y él tiene ahora 95% del su pelo . Él es mucho más feliz en él también y él ahora es feliz con otros perros sobre todo con perros de hembras. Él también ahora corre como un galgo y él ha sido capaz de finalmente terminar su glucantime. Él ahora pesa más que 26kg.   01/05/2010 - Sergi se recupera despacio, pero seguramente y sus heridas ahora prácticamente son curadas. Hay todavía las complicaciones como él fue comenzado sobre Glucantime pero lamentablemente él no es todavía bastante fuerte para esto así él seguirá Aluprinol sólo, y con resto especial de alimentos y mucho. Una vez que él es capaz de tolerar el Glucantime él comenzará otra vez. Él es mucho más activo ahora y disfruta de sus paseos que son un signo bueno aunque él todavía duerma mucho. Todavía el resto no es ninguna cosa mala y al menos la verdadera vida difícil es detrás de él. 18/04/2010 - Sergi ha ganado alguno 3.5 kilogramos ya y ahora está comenzando un curso del tratamiento de Glucantime Sergi fue encontrado en un estado espantoso y lo han diagnosticado con Leishmania. Él está recibiendo el tratamiento con ambos antibióticos y anti-inflamatorios pues él tiene una serie de heridas a la piel - algunas cuyo sea debido a la mentira afuera (particularmente a sus áreas y empalmes de la cadera). Él está recibiendo la medicación para su leishmania y una vez que él es un poco más fuerte que él puede recibir una medicación más fuerte. En el momento que él está en un hogar de acogida (su fosterer es una veterinaria tan él no puede ser esté en manos más seguras). Él ha ganado ya 1Kg (en el día 7 de abril de 2010). Él está sufriendo de la anemia (él fue cubierto en señales y pulgas) y el hipoproteinemia que es un resultado de la desnutrición hace la absorción del alimento difícil y consecuentemente él sufre del temblor en sus piernas traseras. ¡Él es un muchacho encantador que después de que todo que él ha estado a través tenga un carácter hermoso, y una voluntad a vivir más importantemente!
