MALE - In late July 2011 Connor, a Shar-Pei/ Shar Pei Mix, was found on the side of a road by someone who was kind enough not to just walk by.

Born Approx: Feb 2010

Height to Shoulder: TBA

Weight: When found approx 14Kg - now 23 kilos!

Sterilised: Soon

Vaccinated: Yes and Anti Parasited: Yes

Blood Tests: Yes Leishmania but organs are well. Has received a course of Glucantime and now on Alopurinol.

In late July this year Connor a Shar-Pei was found on the side of a road by someone who was kind enough not to just walk by.

Connor was in advanced stages of starvation and after having had blood tests taken was also shown to have leishmania but fortunately his organs are functioning and healthy.

He was found with a large wound on his right hand side on his hip but this has now closed.

Connor will stay with his foster family until he is fully recovered and he can be found a permanent home.

Connor is one of the lucky ones. Someone was prepared to take responsibility and for that we are thankful.

On the 2nd of August his foster mum wrote –
“Hi, Connor is doing really well now and his hair has started to grow back. He is happiest when he is with you. He chewed his way through the fencing but fortunately it seems he only wanted to see where I was not escape off the property. When I found him he had green medication spray on his haunches so someone had been trying to treat him previously. My guess is that he escaped or was dumped by someone, found and then escaped again, little monkey! His sores have all healed now and he had a lovely shower so must feel better. I will take some more photos soon”.

Do you have the experience to give Connor the home he needs?

Many thanks to www.shar-pei-rescue.co.uk for their help and advice.

AURORA needs your help!

PLEASE CAN YOU HELP A.N.N.A & AURORA
Aurora's foster home have decided that they do not want her with them anymore. She is a lovely well behaved dog and now needs help again to find a foster home or a "Forever Home". Unfortunately Aurora does not like cats and so we now need to find her somewhere without moggies. As things stand at the moment she is going to have to go into paid kennels and this is not good for Auroroa (it is much better for her to be with other dogs and people than alone in a kennel), and it is also a cost which the girls of A.N.N.A can ill afford. Would you be able to make a donation or sponsor Aurora for 5€ per month to help towards her kennel costs? Aurora will definitely thank you with lots of licks and kisses. She has already been through so much.
She so deserves her chance of happiness. Please click Aurora's photo to make a donation to A.N.N.A. Thank You.
